Continental and NARS
We are the title partner of the Irish National Adventure Race Series (NARS). The increasingly popular Adventure Racing is an outdoor multi-sport event that comprises of running, cycling and kayaking, set in some of Ireland’s most rugged and beautiful terrains. The events are open to experienced competitors who seek the ultimate endurance challenge, as well as novice participants looking to set personal goals, or team challenge.
Established in Ireland in 2011 by Multisport Adventure Ireland, the National Adventure Race Series offers participants the opportunity to compete for national titles. The series comprises of a selection of top-quality adventure races around Ireland.
The Continental Tyres National Adventure Race Series offers participants an opportunity to become overall champion by achieving the most points take from their five best scoring events in their respective categories. Adventure Racers can be presented with a mixture of tough geographical conditions in various races, from rough trail running to gravel lined roads therefore footwear and tyres need to take all those stresses and strains in their stride!

In February 2019, we became the official partner of the Irish National Adventure Race Series (NARS). The Continental Tyres National Adventure Race Series contains two categories: ‘Expert’ and ‘Sport’.
At the end of each adventure racing season, races in the Continental Tyres NARS are reviewed and assessed for eligibility and suitability for the upcoming year. The Continental Tyres NARS does not have any input in to the organisation or operation of any of the qualifying events in the series. They are independent events that have reached a standard that is required for selection to compete in the series.
